New Life Exist To:
Live Christ
Share Christ
Grow in Christ

At New Life, we accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We consider our movement to be the result of the Protestant conviction Sola Scriptura—the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice for Christians.

You can sum our beliefs up as the 4 C’s:
1. Christ
2. His Commandments
3. His Cross
4. His Second Coming.
Our church is a part of the world-wide Seventh-day Adventist organization and you can read the complete list of our beliefs here.

Time To Renew
Time to RENEW is a devotional blog focused on encouraging the reader to take time to renew in God daily. It can be so easy to get caught in the busyness of the day that we forget to spend quality time with the One true renewable resource. Whether an individual need to be revitalized spiritually, mentally, physically, or emotionally it is important that each of us do so on a daily basis.

The O.C.T.A.N.E. Conference is an initiative to advocate the learning of a cultural approach to evangelism instead of an event-based approach.  The belief is that evangelism can happen in a more dynamic way if the church restructures it’s culture to resemble the church in Acts 1,2.  The past and current evangelistic trend puts a strong focus on fundraising. O.C.T.A.N.E. is encouraging churches to use Prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit to be the prominent forms of currency.  If prayer becomes the culture of the church and the power of the Holy Spirit is invoked in our processes, it is believed that evangelism will not be relegated to an evangelistic event. “And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:47
O.C.T.A.N.E. stands for Organizing Churches To Activate Non-stop Evangelism.
Mission – Equip the church to partner with the Holy Spirit so that the three part commission given by Christ in Mark 16:15,16; Luke 24:47;Matthew 28:19,20 can be efficiently accomplished.
The date of the 1st Annual O.C.T.A.N.E. Conference is September 8-11 at the New Life SDA Church in Birmingham, AL.  This year the theme is: Back To The Future.  We will be focusing on 4 attributes of the Acts 1,2 church:
